Few NJ ad
agencies can claim the successes that Hammerhead advertising
can. We have grown from a two person team working out of an
apartment in Jersey City, to an experienced, and rather quirky,
team that has put together some award-winning advertising
campaigns. The Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising
Association (JSPRAA) distinguished Hammerhead Advertising
from amongst other NJ ad agencies by awarding us the 2002
Jasper Award for Excellence in newspaper advertising.
The JSPRAA, a non-profit organization is the area's largest
communications association with more than 180 members from
graphic design, marketing, public relations and NJ advertising
agencies. Each year, the group hosts the Jasper Award to honor
outstanding marketing efforts produced for a New Jersey-based
company, or by NJ ad agencies. Hammerhead's campaign was for
Bayonne Medical Center, Bayonne, NJ, who had recently opened
their new state-of-the-art emergency room. Few NJ ad agencies
would approach the natural apprehension people have for emergency
rooms head on, but Hammerhead did. The award-winning ad featured
emergency room doors with the headline: We're pleased to announce
our newly expanded, state-of-the-art Emergency Department.
We hope you never get to see it.
It is this blend of innovative thinking and strategic implementation
that differentiates Hammerhead from other NJ ad agencies.
Of course, having a client who can see the inherent value
of taking a chance on unconventional approaches to advertising
helps immensely. We spend a great deal of time with our clients
inside and outside of New Jersey. Other NJ ad agencies would
agree that this is the only way to really get to know the
client's business and identify the best way to approach their

ad agencies have lived in the shadow of New York's big
time ad agencies for too long. They are beginning to muscle
their way into the spotlight, and Hammerhead is leading the
charge. Don't underestimate the growth potential in NJ ad
agencies and Hammerhead in particular. We have already made
a name for ourselves, and we haven't stopped looking for new
ways to convey a message. We are always looking forward to
